Windows 10 - Customize a Desktop Theme - Save a Customized theme

Step 1: Access personalization Options

Right Click on Desktop

Click Personalize

Step 2: personalize the theme

Note: If you want to save the Existing theme Perform  Step 3

Customize Desktop Background, Color, Sounds and Set the Screensaver for the New Theme

Desktop background

Click on Desktop Background in the Personalization Options

Click on the Drop Down Beside Picture Location and select an option from predefined locations

You may also set a New Path by Clicking on Browse

Ensure to select the path in which the Images are saved

To Select all the Images in the Folder

Click Select All

To Set Slide Show Duration

Click on Drop Down Under Change Picture every: Set the Duration to change a Wallpaper

To Shuffle Pictures

Click on the Shuffle Check Box

Click Save Changes after setting the Desktop Background

Changing Color of the theme

Click on Color from Personalization Options

Select the Color from existing shades listed

You May also Change the Intensity of the selected Color Using the Slider

To Choose a different Color

Click on Show Color Mixer

Select a Hue, set the saturation level and Brightness

Click Save Changes

Customize Sound Themes

Click on sounds in Personalization options

Set or change Sound Schemes from preset options or you may customize each event’s

sound by

Selecting an event, Clicking Browse to Selecting the sound

Click on Apply

Screensaver

Click on Screen Saver in the Personalization Options

Select the Screensaver for the Theme

Click Apply

Step 3: Save the New Theme

Click on Save Theme in the Personalization options

Type a name for the theme

Click Save
