Windows 10 - How to connect to a Network Printer

Open run prompt (Windows Key +R) Type Control Printers and Click OK

Click Add printer

If the printer is detected select the same and Click next to proceed with installation, else perform below steps

Click The Printer that I want isn’t listed

Click Select a shared Printer by name and Click browse

Select the Computer and Double Click

Select the Printer

Click Select and Proceed with the setup

You May also add printer using below method

Open Run prompt (Windows Key +R)

Type the IP address of the computer in which printer is connected following format

\\IP address of computer in which printer is connected

Right Click on the printer and Click Connect

Note: in some cases Printer installation disk or setup files will be required to complete the installation

Additionally Printer can also be detected and added using the printer setup Software

Initiate setup and Choose Network (Ethernet/wireless)

Wait for the printer to detect and Continue with setup Process
