Windows 10 – Enable or Disable Camera app Usage on Lock Screen

To Enable or Disable Camera on your Lock Screen in PC settings

Press Windows Key  +I Click
Change PC settings


Click PC and devices

Click on Lock screen

To Turn On Camera for Your Lock Screen

Under Camera, move the slider to the right to turn it on.


To Turn Off Camera for Your Lock Screen


Under Camera, move the slider to the left to turn it off.

To Enable or Disable Camera on your Lock Screen using Registry

Open Run Prompt (Windows Key  +R) Type regedit and press enter

Navigate to the below path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\Lo gonUI\AccessPage\Camera

Change the Value of the DWORD “CameraEnabled” to enable or disable the camera using below table

    I have no Camera on lock screen and Camera propertis, until I added "Camera" hear HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\Lo gonUI\AccessPag and added “CameraEnabled” with value 00000001...

  3. just bought a new laptop with windows 10. Biggest pile of shit i ever saw.camera is locked up solid and microsoft fucked up my whole network.
