Windows 10 - Group Policies - Prevent Screensaver Changes

Method 1: registry Method



Open Run Prompt (Windows Key +R) Type regedit and Click OK
Navigate to Below Key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System Note: If the System Subkey is Not Listed Create it

Right Click on System and Create a New DWORD


Rename it as

NoDispScrSavPage




Double Click on the DWORD

To Prevent Change



Set the Value Data 1 and Click OK





To Allow Changes



Delete the DWORD NoDispScrSavPage






Method 2: Group Policies
Open Run Prompt (Windows Key +R)


Type  gpedit.msc and Click OK Navigate to Below path
User Configuration/Administrative Templates/Control Panel/Personalization


Double Click ON Prevent Changing Screensaver


To Disable
Click Enabled radio Button



Click Apply

To enable
Click Disabled Radio Button and Click Apply
