Windows 10 - Attach Files in Mail App

Launch Mail App


Click Compose


Click on the Attach Button


Navigate to the Folder where Files are Located

Select the File and Click Attach



Remove Email account from Mail App or disable Email sync for default Microsoft account - Windows 10

Click Mail app Tile


Press Windows key  +I Select Accounts



Select the email account to remove





Click Remove account if you are using local account or if you are trying to remove additional email accounts.



For Microsoft account you disable syncing emails by unchecking Email under content to sync





Print emails from mail app - Windows 10

Using the Keyboard


Open Mail App

Open the Email to print


Press the Ctrl + P keyboard combination

Select the Printer



Set the printing preferences and Click print button.

Press Windows Key +K Click Print



Select the Printer

Windows 10 – Mail App - Change Email account Name or Update Sender Name


Launch Mail App

Press Windows Key  +I

Click Accounts



Select the Account to edit



Type the New Name Under Account name







To Change the name Displayed in the Sender Field or Set the Sender
Name for Email account


Select the Text under Your name Field and type the New Name

Windows 10 – Mail app – Fetch Emails from POP Supported Email accounts

Login to Microsoft account    http://www.outlook.com

Click on the gear icon

Click on Options




Click on Your email accounts


Click on Add a send and receive account.






Enter the Email address and password to Import the emails from and click on Next for
Common Domains. For any personal domains select Advanced Options



Enter the Server Address, port Numbers and encryption type for the email account


A New Folder option will create new folder for the email account



You May download the emails to default inbox by selecting and existing folder option


Click on Save

Click on Go to your Inbox






Step 2:
Note: if Same Microsoft account is already configured in Mail app, Just Launch the application and wait for the Mails to sync

Launch Mail app



Click Settings


Click Accounts



Click Add an Account






Select Outlook.com


Enter the Email address and password if the customer is not using the same Microsoft account and Click Connect
